RED BANKS CAMPGROUND

The USA Raft Redbanks Campground is conveniently located just off I-26, along the banks of the Nolichucky River 2 miles downstream from our USA Raft Adventure Resort property. This 22 acre property is the site of where the Battle of Redbanks took place, one of the only Civil War battle sites in Northeast Tennessee. We are proud to be stewards of this special property and we’re excited to share it with our guests to enjoy!

CAMPING

At the Redbanks Campground we offer 63 primitive riverside campsites and 12 RV sites with hookups. A bathhouse offers showers, and restroom facilities. Dogs are welcome overnight on property with a $10 pet fee, please inquire with our reservation staff in advance of bookings that include a pet. More info can be found on our camping page.

PRIVATE BEACH

The Redbanks Campground offers a private beach with deep water perfect for swimming, rare for the Appalachian Mountains! This wide and sandy beach has long been a local hangout, and now it’s exclusively available for guests of USA Raft Adventure Resort. Whether you are a day visitor, rafting trip guest, or an overnight guest at either the Redbanks Campground or the Resort, we welcome you to enjoy this special spot along the Nolichucky River.

Redbanks also serves as our overflow parking area for larger groups and events. Only one vehicle per group is allowed to park at the Resort Property. Additional vehicles are required to be parked at the Redbanks Campground. Guests can carpool or take a complimentary short shuttle between the Resort and Redbanks.
